Meet the team behind Recruitment Marketing Magazine

As an entrepreneur, executive director and non-executive director for a number of organisations, Susanne truly understands that recruitment is one of the greatest challenges they face. Speaking to organisational leaders, their primary problem is nearly always recruitment, and their second biggest problem is often marketing. How ironic then, that recruitment is all about marketing.

With twenty years’ experience in recruitment marketing and employer branding, and a love for people, writing and storytelling, Recruitment Marketing Magazine is a natural product of her experience.

Susanne not only loves recruitment marketing, but also writing and learning. Her favourite aspect is crafting an authentic message for businesses to attract the best talent, focusing on both the joys as well as the challenges. There’s a quantifiable return on investment and clients never fail to see the tangible outcomes, such as reduced time to hire (from seeing and deeply engaging the best people), reduced advertising costs, increased retention, better organisational culture, and elevated organisation productivity and success.

A group of “okay” hires can change company culture over time, and once this takes root, it can be devastating to try to correct. Susanne has helped clients find the right candidates for the right reasons who genuinely understand the rewards and demands of an organisation from the start. Her strategies enable organisations to see a superior candidate pool so they can choose from the A-players.
