EY takes winning spot, LGBTI Inclusion Awards 2018

This year, global “Big Four” professional services accounting firm EY was named Australia’s employer of the year for LGBTI inclusion.

EY employee advocates throw confetti, cheer, and take selfies in celebration of taking out the award this year.

“I think inclusivity is important at work because we have to allow our people to bring their whole selves to work,” says one employee.

“You have more points of view to learn from to become a better person professionally and also personally,” says another.

The video features a diverse range of EY’s people from different genders, ages, and cultures. They proudly hold the trophy and sport rainbow EY-branded lapel pins.

“Everyone has respect and regard for one another.”

They hope to inspire other companies to promote diversity and inclusivity to build a better working world (particularly as they work with such a vast number of organisations!).
